We are a civil society organization with 10 years of experience, which accompanies different processes, which seek a dignified life through the struggle and demand to defend their resources and human rights.
2008
Before 2012 in the State of Mexico there was no organization in charge of defending human rights, however all this changed when a group of people came together to form the Unique Alliance of the Valley.
2009
During the period from 2009 to 2012, they faced clashes, attacks, and even state repression. With this, they recognized the need to create an organizational and institutional space to defend human rights.
2011
With a vision where social leaders, youth, activists and defenders can develop freely with an empowering approach, thus highlighting the leadership of minorities as a symbol that anyone can be an activist or defender who puts their own dignity first.
June 29, 2012
Today it is known as the Center for Human Rights on June 29, 2012 under the premise: "Human rights are tools to liberate peoples and individuals."
Under these principles, the members of the Human Rights Center, we feel a great representation with the Lotus Flower, which is part of ours even in the mud, and emerge every day from its depths, which for the Center symbolizes the ability of all activists and human rights defenders to resist in the face of adversity, to be able to organize and fight the ability to resurface and reinvent oneself for justice, equality and a dignified life.
